Frequently asked questions
How does the immobiliser work?
After switching on the ignition you enter your sequence on buttons your car already has. Only then can the engine be started.
Do I have to enter the PIN every time?
Not necessarily. With the PIN + dongle variant a small radio tag releases the engine, and the PIN stays as an alternative. You choose the variant when booking.
Can I change my PIN myself?
Yes. We show you how at handover.
What if I forget my PIN?
You get an emergency code to unlock the system and set a new PIN.
Does it fit my car?
Select your vehicle when booking. You see right away whether it fits. If it's not listed, ask us directly.
What about workshop visits?
There is a service mode. The car then starts without the PIN and you don't have to share it.
